2017 was a busy year for me. With thirteen shows in the UK and in Europe. It started with a Q-park exhibition for Chinese New Year 'Le Coq artistes' curated by Jude Montague Cowen and Matt Armstrong. Then 51%rememberher in celebration of International Womens day and curated by Rebecca Feiner of Elements gallery.
Taking part in the 'Empire II' project, curated by Vanya Balogh, has been an absolute pleasure. Working with and showing with an extraordinary group of artists and curators. I made a short film 'A Blink Of An Eye' for the project which was an exciting process and gave me a new way to express the issues close to my heart. The Empire II films toured from London to Brussels, Venice, Kendal, Berlin and back to London with further shows further afield a distinct possibility.
I also showed again with PlatformX (Gillian Westgate) whose pop up shows never fail to impress, and also with Lubomirov/Angus Hughes in both Hackney and Athens as part of Platform Projects. There was also 'Doodle' curated by Sumer Erek in Brick Lane.
In-between I have been teaching in my studio and sewing cards for peoples birthdays &;-)
